Day 1 Arrive in Amritsar

Pick-up from Amritsar airport or railway station and transfer to your hotel in Amritsar. After check-in and rest, visit the Golden Temple after sunset, when the complex is lit up.

Day 2 Amritsar to Dalhousie

After breakfast, drive about 4.5 to 5 hours (roughly 190 km) via Gurdaspur and Pathankot to Dalhousie, with a meal stop on the way. Check in and rest. Evening walk around Gandhi Chowk and the Mall.

Day 3 Khajjiar and Kalatop

Full-day trip to Khajjiar's meadow (often called mini Switzerland) and the Kalatop Wildlife Sanctuary forest walks.

Day 4 Dalhousie to Dharamshala

Check out after breakfast and drive about 4 hours (roughly 130 km) to Dharamshala, with a tea stop on the way. Check in and rest. Evening walk in the McLeod Ganj market and cafes.

Day 5 McLeod Ganj, Bhagsu Nag and Dal Lake

Visit McLeod Ganj for the Tsuglagkhang (Dalai Lama) temple complex and the Tibetan market, then Bhagsu Nag temple and waterfall and the small Dal Lake near Naddi.

Day 6 Dharamshala to Manali

Check out after breakfast and drive about 7 to 8 hours (roughly 250 km) via Palampur, Mandi and Kullu to Manali, with meal stops. Check in and rest. Evening at Mall Road and the Tibetan market.

Day 7 Solang Valley and Atal Tunnel

Drive to Solang Valley (about 14 km) for green meadow views and optional paragliding, zorbing, ATV rides and the ropeway. Continue through the Atal Tunnel (about 9 km long) to the Lahaul side if time allows, and return to Manali by evening.

Day 8 Manali local sightseeing

Visit Hadimba Devi Temple in its cedar forest, Manu Temple in Old Manali, the Vashisht hot springs and temple, the Tibetan monastery and Van Vihar park. Evening free on Mall Road for shopping and street food.

Day 9 Departure

Breakfast, check-out and drop at Manali bus stand, Bhuntar airport or your Volvo boarding point (drop at Chandigarh or Delhi on request, extra).
