Manali Tour Package from Delhi for 5 Days is a 4 nights 5 days plan covering Manali. Your stay includes hotel rooms on twin sharing with breakfast and dinner, a private car for transfers and sightseeing, and a day-wise itinerary that you can change to suit your dates, group and budget. You travel between Delhi and Manali on an overnight AC Volvo (ticket extra), which saves a hotel night and keeps the plan short.

Manali is a hill town in the Kullu valley, at about 2,050 metres above sea level. It is roughly 540 km by road from Delhi and 310 km from Chandigarh, and most of its best sights are within a short drive of the main town.

Day 1 Overnight Volvo and arrival in Manali

Board the evening AC Volvo from Delhi the day before (the night in the bus is not counted as a hotel night). Reach Manali in the morning, where our representative meets you and takes you to your hotel. After check-in and rest, visit Hadimba Devi Temple, Manu Temple and the Vashisht hot springs, then end the day on Mall Road.

Day 2 Naggar Castle, Roerich Gallery and Old Manali

Morning drive to Naggar (about 21 km) for Naggar Castle and the Roerich Art Gallery. Return to Manali for an easy walk to Jogini Waterfall and a slow afternoon in the cafes of Old Manali.

Day 3 Solang Valley and Atal Tunnel

Drive to Solang Valley (about 14 km) for green meadow views and optional paragliding, zorbing, ATV rides and the ropeway. Continue through the Atal Tunnel (about 9 km long) to the Lahaul side if time allows, and return to Manali by evening.

Day 4 Manikaran Sahib and Kasol day trip

Early start for a full-day trip into the Parvati valley (about 3 hours each way): Manikaran Sahib gurudwara and its hot springs, then a riverside walk and lunch in Kasol. Return to Manali by evening.

Day 5 Departure by Volvo

Breakfast and check-out, with luggage kept safe at the hotel. Free time for last-minute shopping on Mall Road, then an evening drop at your Volvo boarding point for the overnight journey, reaching Delhi the next morning.

Delhi to Manali by Volvo: what to know

  • Overnight AC Volvo buses leave Delhi in the evening (commonly from ISBT Kashmiri Gate) and reach Manali the next morning, about 12 to 14 hours later.
  • Seats are usually semi-sleeper or sleeper; choose the one that suits you and book early for April to June and the year-end.
  • The night in the bus is not counted as a hotel night, so you can start sightseeing after you freshen up.
  • Volvo tickets are extra: roughly Rs. 1,000 to Rs. 2,000 one way, depending on operator and date. We can help you book.
  • Local sightseeing in Manali is by private car as per the itinerary.

Rohtang Pass is open only in season, needs a permit and has a limited vehicle quota. We include it in the plan only when it is open and the weather is clear; permit charges are extra. Otherwise we spend the day on the Lahaul side through the Atal Tunnel.

Can the itinerary or hotels be changed?

Yes. Every plan is flexible. Tell us your dates, group size and budget and we will adjust the hotels, nights and sightseeing.

Is the night in the Volvo counted as a hotel night?

No. The overnight journey does not count as a hotel night, so you can start sightseeing after you arrive and freshen up.

Can I switch to a private car instead of the Volvo?

Yes. Ask us for the Delhi private-car option; it adds Delhi pick-up and drop to the package and the price changes accordingly.
