Day-wise itinerary

7 nights 8 days: Shimla (3N) + Kullu (1N) + Manali (3N). Tap a day to open it.

Day 1 Arrive in Shimla

Pick-up from Chandigarh, Kalka or Shimla and transfer to your hotel in Shimla. After check-in and rest, evening walk on Mall Road, Scandal Point, The Ridge and Christ Church. Family tip: shorter driving stretches and plenty of rest breaks; the Himalayan Nature Park at Kufri suits children.

Day 2 Kufri and Fagu sightseeing

Drive to Kufri (about 16 km) for the Himalayan Nature Park, viewpoints and optional horse riding. Stop at Fagu for valley views, then return to Shimla for Lakkar Bazaar and Lower Bazaar shopping.

Day 3 Mashobra, Naldehra and Tara Devi

Day trip to Mashobra and Naldehra for pine forests and the old golf course, then Tara Devi temple. Overnight in Shimla.

Day 4 Shimla to Kullu

Drive via Mandi and Pandoh Dam, about 6 hours. Optional river rafting near Kullu in season. Overnight in Kullu. Family tip: the Kullu night breaks the long Shimla-Manali drive, which is easier for children and elders.

Day 5 Kullu to Manali via Naggar

Visit Naggar Castle and the Roerich Art Gallery, then continue to Manali (about 40 km). Evening at Mall Road. Family tip: we keep drives moderate and add rest stops, with child-friendly snow or meadow time at Solang.

Day 6 Solang Valley and Atal Tunnel

Drive to Solang Valley (about 14 km) for snow or green meadow views and optional adventure activities such as paragliding and ropeway. Continue through the Atal Tunnel (about 9 km long) to Sissu if road conditions allow. Return to Manali.

Day 7 Manali local sightseeing

Visit Hadimba Devi Temple, Manu Temple, Vashisht hot springs and Van Vihar, then Mall Road and the Tibetan market in the evening.

Day 8 Departure

Breakfast, check-out and drop at Manali bus stand, Bhuntar airport or your Volvo boarding point (drop at Chandigarh or Delhi on request, extra).
