Day 1 Arrive by air and drive to Kullu

Arrive at Bhuntar (Kullu-Manali) airport when seasonal flights operate; your Kullu hotel is about 10 km (20 to 30 minutes) away. If you land at Chandigarh (about 7 to 8 hours by road) or Delhi (about 11 to 12 hours), our driver meets you at the airport and drives via Bilaspur and Mandi with meal stops. Check in and rest by the Beas river. Please check current flight schedules before you book.

Day 2 Kullu to Manali via Naggar

Visit Naggar Castle and the Roerich Art Gallery, then continue to Manali (about 40 km). Evening at Mall Road.

Day 3 Solang Valley and Atal Tunnel

Drive to Solang Valley (about 14 km) for green meadow views and optional paragliding, zorbing, ATV rides and the ropeway. Continue through the Atal Tunnel (about 9 km long) to the Lahaul side if time allows, and return to Manali by evening.

Day 4 Manali local sightseeing

Visit Hadimba Devi Temple in its cedar forest, Manu Temple in Old Manali, the Vashisht hot springs and temple, the Tibetan monastery and Van Vihar park. Evening free on Mall Road for shopping and street food.

Day 5 Lahaul valley and Rohtang Pass (when open)

Cross the Atal Tunnel into the Lahaul valley for Sissu and its waterfall. Rohtang Pass is open only in season, needs a permit and has a limited vehicle quota, so we plan it only when it is open and the weather is clear.

Day 6 Departure

Breakfast and check-out. Drop at Bhuntar airport (Kullu-Manali) if you fly out from there, or continue to Chandigarh airport (about 8 to 9 hours) on request. Please check current flight schedules.

How to reach Kullu Manali from Kolkata

Getting there

Direct flights to Delhi take roughly 2.5 hours, and Rajdhani and Duronto trains also run to Delhi.

Fly to Delhi or Chandigarh. Bhuntar (Kullu-Manali) airport is the closest to Kullu and Manali, but flights there are limited and seasonal, so check the current schedule before you plan around it. From Delhi the drive to Kullu takes about 11 to 12 hours, and from Chandigarh about 7 to 8 hours.
